The Human Resource Department's sole responsibility is to provide service and assistance in all aspects of personnel to the Cape Girardeau School District. With approximately one-half of the District's budget dedicated to personnel and benefits; responsibilities of the department include staff recruitment, salary schedule maintenance, assignment implementation, and processing of contracts.

Applicants for Certified/Professional Positions:
Applications can be downloaded and printed here or you may pick up an application at the Board of Education offices located at 301 N. Clark St. in Cape Girardeau. After completing the application, please present it to the Receptionist at the Board of Education offices.
Applications for Certified Positions can be submitted online directly to Cape Girardeau Public Schools through our Certified Online Application System. Instructions for submitting your application online are provided. Please note that even though you are submitting your application online, certain supplimental documents still need to be sent to Personnel non-electronically.Or, you may submit an application online to the Regional Education Applicant Placement Program (REAP) website at www.MOREAP.net. If you apply through REAP, please send a follow-up email to DeRhonda Gosche, Human Resources for Cape Girardeau Public Schools to inform us that you have submitted an application through REAP and indicating the position(s) you are interested in.
