The students selected to receive the “Terrific Tiger Award” have been selected based on service to others, leadership and scholarship.
The following students are being recognized as recipients of the “Terrific Tiger Award.”
ALMA SCHRADER ELEMENTARY - Chasity Sneath, Grade 3, Daughter of Harrison and Felicia Saxon
Chasity practices good social skills every day. She is unselfish and giving of her time. She is always willing to share what she has with others. Chasity has demonstrated concern for the welfare of her fellow students on numerous occasions. We are proud to recognize her as our “Terrific Tiger”.
BLANCHARD ELEMENTARY - Amanda Stricker, Grade 4, Daughter of Jeff and Bonnie Stricker
Amanda is a terrific student. She is a serious student who always wants to do her best. She is polite, a good listener, and follows instructions. Amanda makes terrific choices each day.
CLIPPARD ELEMENTARY - Natalie Davis, Grade 4, Daughter of John and Barbara Davis
Natalie always displays all the characteristics of a good citizen. She is a good role model for others. Natalie is always caring, tries her best, and has a smile on her face.
FRANKLIN ELEMENTARY - Stephen White, Grade 4, Son of Angelia Applewhite
Stephen is an awesome student. He is great in class and consistently follows the rules and completes his assignments. Stephen is a great asset to Franklin Elementary.
JEFFERSON ELEMENTARY - Garrett Fornkohl, Grade K, Son of Rachel Riley
Garrett likes to read and play games. His favorite author is Dr. Seuss. He is also an amazing artist. Garrett was chosen because he is a wonderful role model to others. He always treats others with respect and follows directions. He works hard every day and does his very best. He is definitely a gifted and talented Jefferson Tiger.
CENTRAL MIDDLE SCHOOL - Dymond Gardner, Grade 6, Daughter of Clareon Praction
Dymond stands out in class as a true jewel. She personifies perfect P.A.W. behavior. When others think of Dymond, they think of straight A’s and awesome manners. She also makes herself available to help and mentor others.
CAPE CENTRAL JUNIOR HIGH - James Ellis, Grade 7, Son of Nancy Ellis
James is a member of the Change of Heart team and THRIVE. He has shown his leadership skills repeatedly by willing to take an active role in each of these organizations. James will ask questions, offer solutions and lend a hand any time it is needed. He has an infectious smile that lights of the halls at CJHS.
CAPE CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL - Alllison Yuen, Grade 12, Daughter of Benjamin and Celia Yuen
Ali is the type of student teachers relish. She is inquisitive, thoughtful, and self motivated. Compassion and empathy, as well as honesty and integrity are characteristics that accurately describe her. Ali has a quiet determination for excellence. She possesses a wonderful sense of humor and a devotion to her studies.
ALTERNATIVE EDUCATION CENTER - Robert Grant, Grade 10, Son of Carla Dickison
Robert is an outstanding your man. He does as he is asked with no hesitation. He has a real concern for his education and speaks in a manner that is an example for all the students. Robert always goes the extra mile and usually has a big smile on his face. He is a great example of good citizenship.
