The week of January 22-28, 2012, is Missouri School Board Recognition Week. Governor Jay Nixon recognizes Missouri School Boards as an essential element to provide a system of quality public education in Missouri. The governor signed a proclamation which was read at the January meeting of the Cape Board of Education during a recognition ceremony by the students and staff. School Board Members pictured above, left to right, are Vice-President Tony Smee, Paul Nenninger, President Stacy Kinder, Philip Moore, Deneké Murphy, Kyle McDonald, Don Call and Superintendent Dr. James Welker.
